Mindless vandalism in Kimberley

Alert message sent 12/07/2018 08:44:00

Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

Dear Residents
Local authorities covering the Kimberley area have spent a considerable amount of money, time and effort improving facilities in and around our local parks.
We now have a state of the art play area for our young residents and a very pleasant green oasis for all to enjoy.
Overnight on 02/07/2018 the Multi User Games Area (MUGA) on Stag Park Nottingham Road Kimberley has been vandalised with gold and silver spray paint.

It is possible that the offenders would have traces of the paint on their clothes and skin.

The graffiti was of a homophobic racist and hate element.

These actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Positive action will be taken by the Police to bring the offenders to justice.

Due to more damage Kimberley council will now have to replace the equipment once again and spray paint will have to be removed from the MUGA, in all this is going to cost Kimberley council potentially thousands of pounds to repair.
These acts of mindless vandalism affect all residents and tax payers in the area.
The Police need to know who is responsible for the damage!

Do you know who is resposible for this crime?

If you have any information on the above please ring PC2446 Paul Toon on 07525989434
