Crimes reported over the past seven days.


Burglary Dwelling

Between 8.00pm on Wednesday 27 June and 4.15pm on Thursday 28 June in Station Terrace, Hucknall, an attempt was made to gain access to a house by forcing the back door.  At 1145 pm on Saturday 30 June a second attempt was made by two young males to enter the house via a rear window.  They were disturbed by a neighbour and made off.


Between 8.00am and 10.30am on Thursday 28 June in Glendon Drive, Hucknall, a house was entered via a front window.  Nothing was stolen.


At 9.20am Tuesday 3 July on New Westwood, Westwood, two males entered an address and were seen to make off on foot towards Selston.  We do not know if anything was stolen.


Burglary Other

At 9.25am on Thursday 28 June an attempt was made by two masked males to break in to Green’s Service Station, Nottingham Road, Selston.


Around Thursday 28 June in Nottingham Road, Selston, a Whacker plate was stolen from inside a building.


Between 7.00pm on Wednesday 27 and 11.30am on Thursday 28 June in Beauvale Gardens, Annesley Woodhouse, a shed was broken into and a blue and white off road bike stolen.


Between 12.00 noon and 1.00pm on Tuesday 3 July in Titchfield Park, Hucknall, a storage shed was broken into.  A leaf blower, hedge trimmer and a can of petrol was stolen.


Theft of motor vehicle

None reported.


Theft from motor vehicle

At approximately 11.00am on Tuesday 26 June in Cheyne Walk, Hucknall, an insecure white Mercedes Sprinter van was w entered and two Milwaukee circular saws and two cordless Makita staplers were stolen.


Between 5.00pm on Thursday 28 June and 8.00am on Friday 29 June in Orchard Street, Hucknall, two headlights were stolen from a Skoda Octavia VRS parked at the roadside.


Between 11.00pm on Saturday 30 June and 1.30am on Sunday 1 July in Croft Avenue, Hucknall, a Stihl saw and a Makita cordless drill were stolen from a Isuzu 4x4 truck.


Between 10.30pm on Saturday 30 June and 10.30am on Sunday 1 July in Sandy lane, Hucknall, a set of golf clubs were stolen from a green Ford Transit van parked at the roadside.


Between 9.30pm on Saturday 30 June and 11.00am on Sunday 1 July in Holbeck Road, Hucknall, an electrical tester was stolen from a Citroen Berlingo van parked at the roadside.


Between 12.00 noon and 2.30pm on the 2 July in Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, a

Stihl saw was stolen from a white Vauxhall Vivaro van.


Between 10.00pm on Monday 2 July and 5.00am Tuesday 3 July at Sandicliffe Ford, Portland Road, Hucknall, a van parked in a secure compound was entered. We do not know at this time if anything was stolen.



Between Thursday 28 and Saturday 30 June in Sunray Grove, Hucknall, a Mountfield S481 lawnmower was stolen from a garden.


At 10.04am on Monday 2 July at Butlers Hill Infants School, Broomhill Road, Hucknall, a multi coloured mountain bike with two padlocks below the seat was stolen from the yard.


Between 8.00pm on Monday 2 July and 6.20am on Tuesday 3 July in Cavendish Crescent, Annesley Woodhouse, a Sterling Vitesse caravan was stolen from a driveway.
